A journey for exploring the history and stunning views of Izu
If you want to experience the charm of Izu fully, try Izu Cruise, which operates sightseeing boats in the clear waters of Izu. There are two routes of Izu Cruises available: the Shimoda Port Cruise, which sets off from and returns to Shimoda Port, and the Cape Irozaki Cruise, departing from and also returning to Irozaki Port. Shimoda Port is conveniently located 15 minutes on foot or about a 3-minute drive from Izukyu Shimoda Station, while Irozaki Port is roughly a 35-minute drive from the same station. Experience the rich history of Shimoda Port while onboard a striking Kurofune, and take in the breathtaking natural beauty of Irozaki from the water. We promise to provide a luxurious travel experience that combines nature with history.

Take in the stunning coastal scenery as you cruise past the historic site where Commodore Perry’s fleet anchored, explore Bentenjima, a place where Yoshida Shoin is believed to have sought refuge, and soak up the breathtaking views of Minami Izu.
